The enforcers of the GDPR threaten massive monetary penalties for non-compliance — up to 20M euros or 4% of your company’s annual gross revenue.

To stay compliant, website owners need to:

  1. Obtain user consent

  2. Communicate to users how data is collected and used

  3. Specify what personal information has been collected

They will also need to allow their users to:

  1. Request for corrections of mistakes in collected data

  2. Delete data

  3. Refuse data processing
