If you updated your address under Account → Business Information but your published Privacy Policy still shows no address or an outdated one, check the policy editor directly. Go to Step 9: User Rights in the DPO Address section and make sure the question "Does the data protection officer have the same physical address as the company?" is set to No. This reveals the address fields where you can enter or update the address that appears in your published policy.
How to fix it
- From your Termly dashboard, go to Privacy Policy and locate the policy that is missing the address.
- Click Edit on that policy.
- In the left-hand navigation, click Step 9: User Rights.
- Scroll down to the DPO Address section.
- Find the question "Does the data protection officer have the same physical address as the company?" and select No.
- Click Save & Next.
- The DPO Address fields will now appear. Fill in your Country, Address line 1, Address line 2 (optional), City/town, and ZIP/postal code.
- Click Save & Next.
- Once you reach the final step, click Publish (or Republish if the policy is already live).
Important: Changes saved inside the policy editor do not go live until you republish. If you save but do not republish, your live policy will continue to show the old or missing address.
Still not showing after republishing?
Confirm the following:
- You selected No for the DPO same-address question and did not revert it before saving.
- You clicked Publish / Republish after saving, drafts are not reflected in the live policy.
- You are viewing the correct policy URL, if you have multiple policies, make sure you edited and republished the right one.
