Termly provides three ways to embed a policy on your Kajabi website. Your options include:

  • HTML format: Pasting static HTML directly to your website

  • URL: Linking to a Termly-hosted URL (available for Pro+ users)

  • Code snippet: Embedding the policy on your page using a code snippet (available for Pro+ users)

HTML format

Follow these steps to add your policy using HTML:

  1. Log in to your Kajabi dashboard.

  2. Click Website from the left-side menu.

  3. Click Pages.

  4. Select Landing (from the options Website, Landing, and Pipelines).

  5. Click + New Landing Page.

  6. Scroll down and select the Policies template.

  7. Click Get Started.

  8. Title your page, e.g., "Privacy Policy."

  9. Click Create.

  10. Click Text in the left-side menu, click Edit, or click anywhere into the lorem ipsum text to bring up the text editing box.

  11. In the left-side menu, click <> in the Text section.

  12. Copy your policy HTML code from your Termly dashboard by clicking Add to Website, selecting HTML, and clicking Copy to Clipboard.

  13. Paste your HTML into the Source Code box.

  14. Click Save.

You can now link to your policy page from the footer or other menus.

URL

You can add your Termly policy as a link from a menu, or you can create a policy page and add a link on that page.

Follow these steps to add your policy URL as a link directly to your footer or other menu:

  1. Log in to your Kajabi dashboard.

  2. Click Website from the left-side menu.

  3. Click Navigation.

  4. Scroll to the menu you want to add your policy to. Policies are commonly found in the footer, but can also be placed in other menus.

  5. Click + Add.

  6. Click Add Link.

  7. Copy your URL from your Termly dashboard by clicking Add to Website, selecting URL, and clicking Copy to Clipboard.

  8. Return to your Kajabi page and paste the link.

This will add a direct link to the Termly-hosted policy with no additional steps needed.

Follow these steps to add the policy URL onto a separate page:

  1. Log in to your Kajabi dashboard.

  2. Click Website from the left-side menu.

  3. Click Pages.

  4. Select Landing (from the options Website, Landing and Pipelines.)

  5. Click + New Landing Page.

  6. Scroll down and select the Policies template.

  7. Click Get Started.

  8. Title your page.

  9. Click Create.

  10. Click anywhere into the lorem ipsum text and delete it.

  11. In the text box, click the Insert/edit link button.

  12. Name your link, e.g. "Privacy Policy."

  13. Copy your URL from your Termly dashboard by clicking Add to Website, selecting URL, and clicking Copy to Clipboard.

  14. Paste into the link box.

  15. Click Save.

You can now link to your policy page from your footer or other menus. Using the URL option ensures your policies are updated automatically when you publish changes.

  3. Click Pages.

  4. Select Landing (from the options Website, Landing, and Pipelines).

  5. Click + New Landing Page.

  7. Click Get Started.

  8. Title your page, e.g., "Privacy Policy."

  9. Click Create.

  10. Click Text in the left-side menu, click Edit, or click anywhere into the lorem ipsum text. This will bring up the text editing box.

  12. Copy your policy code snippet from your Termly dashboard by clicking Add to Website, selecting Code Snippet, and clicking Copy to Clipboard.

  13. Paste your code snippet into the Source Code box.

  14. Click Save.

You can now link to your policy page from your footer or other menus. Using the code snippet ensures your policies are updated automatically when you publish changes.

Linking to your policy page

After you've created your policy pages in Kajabi, you will need to link to those pages in a prominent place. Policies are often placed in a website's footer, but may also be placed in other menus.

Follow these steps to link to your policy pages:

  1. Log in to your Kajabi dashboard.

  2. Click Website from the left-side menu.

  3. Click Navigation.

  4. Select the menu you need to add the policy link to, like the footer.

  5. Click + Add.

  6. Click Add Page. Your existing Kajabi pages will come up as options.

  7. Select the policy page you want to add to the menu.

  8. Click Save.

Your policy should now appear in the menu.
