You can embed your consent banner on Shopify either by using a plugin or by editing your theme to include the consent banner code.
Using a plugin
Follow these steps to add your consent banner with a plugin:
Log in to your Shopify account and navigate to the Shopify App store by clicking Apps, then Customize your store.
Add a plugin that allows you to add custom code to your Shopify pages, like this one.
Go to your Shopify admin dashboard and click Apps to access your plugin.
Go to your Termly dashboard and select Embed Consent Banner.
Click Copy to Clipboard.
Return to your Shopify dashboard and paste your code snippet into the app’s header section.
Click Save.
You will now need to turn on the code in your Shopify theme customizer. To do so, click Online Store, then click Themes.
In the Current Theme section, click Customize.
Click Theme Settings, then click App embeds to see your apps.
Click the toggle under the correct app to add the code. If you used the suggested app, you will need to select the toggle under XO Insert code Header.
Click Save.
Your consent banner should now appear on your Shopify site.
