Termly makes updates to its policy generators to reflect changes in data privacy laws that may impact our users. When an update occurs, Termly users are informed by email with details about the changes, which can be made from their Termly Dashboard.
Who must comply?
Google Analytics policy requirements apply to entities that use Google Analytics for a website or application.
How to update your Termly privacy policy to comply with Google Analytics, including Google Analytics Advertising Features
If you want your policy to be compliant with Google Analytics, log into your Termly Dashboard and follow these steps in the privacy policy generator.
Step 1
First, skip ahead to the Use of Tracking and Technologies section.
Step 2
Next, select the Save & Next button until you reach the Google Analytics page.
Step 3
Select Yes for the question, “Do you use Google Analytics?”
Step 4
If you have any Google Analytics Advertising Features enabled on your website or application, select the advertising feature(s) in the dropdown list.
If the advertising feature you are looking for is not in the dropdown list, you may add it yourself.
Step 5
Finally, click PUBLISH to update your policy.
Remember to notify your users about any changes you make to your privacy policy.
