You can cancel your Termly subscription at any time directly from your dashboard. Follow the steps below.
How to cancel
- Log in to your Termly account.
- Click your account icon in the upper-right corner of your dashboard.
- Select Plan Info.
- Click Manage Subscription.
- Choose Cancel Subscription (or Remove Plan/Licenses to downgrade instead), then confirm your selection.
You'll receive an on-screen confirmation once the cancellation has been submitted.
When does the cancellation take effect?
Your cancellation takes effect at the end of your current subscription period. You'll keep access to your paid features until that date, and you won't be billed for the next cycle.
Monthly vs. Annual plans: Annual subscribers who wish to switch to a monthly plan will need to cancel first and wait until the current subscription period ends before the new plan can begin.
Will I be refunded?
Termly does not issue refunds for subscription fees under most circumstances. Because your access continues through the end of the period you've already paid for, we recommend cancelling any time before your renewal date to avoid the next charge.
What happens to my policies and consent banner after cancellation?
Once your account has expired or been cancelled, your policies and Consent Management Solution will no longer be supported. Any links to your hosted policies will lead visitors to an error page, and your consent banner will stop functioning.
To stay compliant, make sure to save copies of any content you need before your period ends. You can also keep your account active on a free plan to continue hosting your policies.
Can I reactivate later?
Yes. You can reactivate by logging back in and resubscribing to a paid plan. If you need help restoring a previous configuration or moving to the latest plan, our support team is happy to assist.
