Tags help you organize websites by client, region, compliance status, or any custom category. With Termly’s bulk tag editor, you can apply or remove tags across multiple websites in just a few clicks, making it easier to filter, group, and manage your site list.
How to Apply or Remove Tags in Bulk
- Go to the Websites tab in your Termly dashboard.
-
Select the websites you want to update using checkboxes or multi-page selection.
-
A toolbar will appear at the bottom. Click Edit Tags.
- In the modal:
- Add new tags to apply across selected sites.
-
Optionally, remove existing tags by entering them in the “Tags to remove” field.
-
Click Apply to confirm changes.
You’ll first see a confirmation message that the work has been queued and then receive a confirmation email once the new tags have been successfully applied or removed. For more details, see Confirmation Process for Bulk Changes.
Why Use Tags
- Organize by client or region – Easily group sites for reporting or updates.
- Track compliance status – Tag sites as “Pending Review,” “Compliant,” or “Needs Update.”
- Enable faster bulk actions – Filter by tag to quickly apply settings or delete outdated sites.
Tags are flexible, reusable, and visible across your workspace, making them a powerful tool for managing large site portfolios.
