When you perform bulk actions in Termly (such as copying settings, duplicating websites, editing tags, or deleting websites), the process runs in the background. This article explains what to expect and how to interpret the confirmations you’ll receive.
Step 1: Queued Confirmation
- After clicking Apply, you’ll see a confirmation message that the work has been queued.
- This means Termly has scheduled the changes, but they are not yet complete.
Step 2: Email Confirmation
- Once the work finishes, you’ll receive a confirmation email.
- The email confirms that the settings have been successfully applied across your selected websites.
- Keep this email for your records. It serves as proof of completion.
Important Notes
- Propagation Delay: After a bulk change, it may take some time before all updates appear everywhere, as caches need time to clear.
- Edge Cases: Some settings may require manual review if they don’t apply uniformly across sites.
- Support Link: If you encounter issues or notice delays beyond normal caching, contact Termly Support.
This process ensures you’re notified both when the work is queued and when it’s complete. By checking the confirmation email and allowing time for caches to clear, you can be confident your settings have been applied correctly.
