Duplicating a website lets you quickly recreate a Termly setup using an existing site’s configuration. This is useful for scaling, testing, or applying consistent policies across multiple domains.
Two Ways to Duplicate a Website
Option 1: From the Websites Page
- Go to the Websites tab in your Termly dashboard.
- Find the site you want to duplicate.
- Click the Edit icon in the right corner.
4. Select Duplicate.
5. In the modal:
- Choose the source site.
- Set the number of copies.
- Review available licenses.
-
Click Create Copy.
Option 2: From the New Website CTA
-
Click + New Website in the upper right corner.
-
In the modal, select Duplicate Website tab.
- Follow the same steps as above to choose a source and create copies.
You’ll first see a confirmation message indicating that the work has been queued, and then receive a confirmation email once the duplicated websites have been created. For more details, see Confirmation Process for Bulk Changes.
What Gets Duplicated?
When you duplicate a website, the following elements are copied:
| Element | Included in Duplication |

| User Policies | ✅ Yes |
| Banner Settings | ✅ Yes |
| Tags | ✅ Yes |
| Business Information | ❌ No (must be imported separately) |
Where to Find the Duplication Option
- On the Websites tab, use the edit icon beside any site.

Duplicating a website helps you scale faster while keeping your Termly setup consistent. Just make sure you have enough licenses before creating copies.
